I’m here to help with that! Once you book, you’ll receive a styling guide with tips on choosing outfits that reflect your family’s personality while complementing the natural environment. I’m also happy to provide personal feedback if you’d like advice on specific looks.

2. What if my kids don’t cooperate?

That’s completely okay—kids will be kids, and I actually love capturing their authentic energy! I approach sessions with patience, playfulness, and zero pressure. The best photos often come from the unplanned moments—giggles, cuddles, and even the little meltdowns that are part of real life.

3. Where will our session take place?

Most of my sessions are set against the stunning backdrop of Boulder, featuring the iconic Flatirons. I’m drawn to natural outdoor settings—wide-open meadows, serene lakes, scenic mountain views or for a modern feel, I also love photographing in Downtown Denver. Whether you’re drawn to nature or cityscapes, I’ll work with you to choose a location that reflects your family’s unique vibe while ensuring the best natural light to create beautifully authentic images.

4. When is the best time to schedule our session?

For the most beautiful, natural light, sessions are typically scheduled about an hour before sunset—often referred to as “golden hour.” This soft, warm light adds a magical glow to your photos.

5. How long will it take to receive our photos?

You can expect your fully edited gallery within 3-4 weeks after your session. I carefully hand-edit each image to ensure they reflect the emotion and beauty of the moment.

6. Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes! While your session includes high-resolution digital images, I also offer professional print and album options. Your online gallery makes it easy to order prints directly, ensuring the highest quality to preserve your memories beautifully.

7. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Colorado weather can be unpredictable, but don’t worry—I always have a backup plan. If conditions are unsafe or not ideal, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost. Overcast skies can actually create gorgeous, soft lighting, so we’ll embrace what nature gives us when possible!
