I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Susan, your Colorado lifestyle family photographer, here to capture your story. Whether it’s the warmth of a family snuggle, the joy of a child’s laughter, or the quiet beauty of an ordinary day, I believe every moment deserves to be preserved.
My journey into photography began when I became a mom. Watching my boys grow—seemingly in the blink of an eye—I felt a deep desire to hold onto every little detail: their tiny hands, the way they laughed without a care, the fleeting moments that often slip by unnoticed. What started as a way to document my own family’s story quickly grew into a passion for helping others preserve their most cherished memories, too.
I’m incredibly lucky to be married to my amazing husband, who’s not just my biggest supporter but also the reason I’m able to chase this dream. Together, we’re raising three incredible boys who fill our lives with adventure, curiosity, and endless inspiration. Oh, and I don’t want to leave out our sweet fur baby, Luna, who keeps things fun and a little chaotic—just the way we like it.
As a family, we love connecting with nature—hiking Colorado’s scenic trails, fishing by peaceful lakes, camping under the stars, and snowboarding down snowy mountain peaks. These moments remind me of the beauty in life’s simple joys and fuel my creativity behind the lens.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll often find me surrounded by my collection of houseplants, enjoying slow mornings with a warm cup of tea, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the magic of a sunset. Laughter and connection are essential to my soul, I love making time to connect with my soul sisters—a small circle of lifelong friends, who bring genuine connection, love, laughter, and that kind of ‘free therapy’ that every girl needs. My family and friends are a constant reminder of the importance of meaningful relationships, which is the heart of my work and what I strive to bring to every session.
My Approach To Photography
I believe the most beautiful images come from real, unscripted moments. During our session, I’ll gently guide you but focus on capturing genuine emotions—those in-between moments when you’re not posing, just being. Whether it’s belly laughs, messy hair, sweet snuggles, or even a little bit of chaos, that’s where the magic lives.
My goal isn’t just to give you photos—it’s to create images that make you feel something every time you look at them. Photos that take you back to how it felt to hold your baby’s tiny hand, hear your child’s giggle, or wrap your arms around the people you love most.
